LAHORE (Web Desk) - Renowned writer Anwar Maqsood has explained an interesting reason behind Pakistan's defeat at the hands of the United States in the T20 World Cup.

A video of Anwar Maqsood has gone viral on social media, in which he is seen reacting to Pakistan's defeat in a T20 World Cup match against the US.

Maqsood said Pakistan lost the match under duress to America out of necessity because "it has yet to get a loan from the IMF".

Maqsood hilariously said the condition of losing the match might have been set by the IMF that first Pakistan would lose the match to the US and then they would give money. Otherwise, there was no other solid reason for Pakistan's defeat.
